Grupo Security to propose final dividend of CH$5.25 per share in April
At the Annual General Meeting:
GRUPO SECURITY TO PROPOSE FINAL DIVIDEND OF CH$5.25 PER SHARE IN APRIL
Grupo Security agreed to call its annual general meeting for April 6th at 9:30 a.m., where it will propose a final dividend of CH $5.25 per share. Combined with the dividend of CH $3.5 paid in October, the Group will have distributed a total of CH $8.75 per share, or CH $65,146 million, equivalent to 54% of profit for the year 2020. This dividend will be paid on April 16th.
Similarly to last year, in light of public health conditions in the country, shareholders may participate remotely as permitted by the Financial Market Commission. However, shareholders wishing to do so may attend the meeting in person at the company’s offices.
“Regarding 2021 forecasts, the Group anticipates an improvement in local economic conditions, which would help it recover earnings levels, in line with the company’s historical track record of growth above 10%,” commented the Group's CEO, Renato Peñafiel.
